At Night All Birds Are Black

In At Night All Birds Are Black, each photograph is a portal - a threshold to a space where the tangible world merges with the intangible currents of emotion and memory. You are invited to venture into a realm where certainty fades and intuition takes hold. What is familiar then dissolves into the unknown.

The recurring motifs in my work - tendrils of light, veiled forms, and swirling textures - serve as reflections of our inner landscapes. They speak to the fluid and fleeing nature of perception and the ever-shifting boundaries of our understanding. I try to evoke a sense of both solitude and connection to something greater and outside of ourselves.

By embracing ambiguity and the ephemeral, I aim to resonate with the viewer's own experiences of uncertainty and transformation. The interplay of dark and light, of revelation and concealment, mirrors the ebb and flow of our conscious and subconscious minds.

This body of work is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to attune oneself to the subtle vibrations that exist beneath the surface of our everyday perceptions. It is in these spaces that we may find a deeper connection to the ineffable rhythms of existence. It is in these quiet, contemplative moments that we can begin to glimpse the profound interconnectedness of all things and our place within the grand tapestry of nature.
