Foilimages
Foilimages is a photographer and visual assemblages artist working to elevate the natural and human-made worlds that are often unnoticed, avoided, or discarded. He celebrates the colors, textures, patterns, and forms that nature adds to human-made objects over time and celebrates the beauty of age by presenting these pieces as jewel-like treasures.
In his diptych series, he intentionally manipulates the color and tones, focusing on how we communicate with each other through imagery. Although I use various materials and processes in each project, my methodology is consistent.
Although there may not always be material similarities between the different works, they are linked by recurring formal concerns with cultural, gender, and memory history, which are transcended through different means of language and culture barriers.
I engaged subjects in an assemblage that reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new work-in-progress diptych pieces, objects of nature, and structure-nature scapes.
the intent is to examine the un-examine, rather than relying on a timescale
