Fleeting explores complex emotions during the COVID-19 pandemic as a trans-identifying person. Uniquely, non-binary, trans, and queer-identifying folks rely on chosen family and intimacy within safe spaces for survival. Utilizing models within my chosen family, as well as self-portraiture, I photograph moments of in-betweenness and longing. The project utilizes a variety of film stocks, focused on the materiality and unpredictable nature of the medium.
